Should transgender athletes be allowed into the Olympics?

The purpose of the modern Olympic Games is to promote peace and unity within the international community through the medium of sports; to contribute to building a peaceful and better world by educating youth through sport practised without discrimination of any kind, in a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play. But does it make it unfair if a transgender is worthy enough to compete? I think not. No matter how many times transgender people insist they are the other sex their DNA doesn’t lie. The case right now for the olympics is female-to-male athletes can compete “without restriction,” while male-to-female athletes must undergo hormone therapy. If a female is caught with just a little testosterone they get banned for doping and are kicked out. Now we have these transgender men that are walking bags of testosterone. Even if they take blockers it doesn’t change their build. Even if they have surgery it doesn’t change their bones and muscles. Even if they get those changed… Well at that point they will be so mutilated that competitive sports would be a impossibility. Imagine a young, tall, muscular Bruce Jenner competing in the olympics as Caitlyn Jenner and stealing all the medals. It just isn’t fair. This is why I believe that transgenders should not be allowed into the Olympics.

  1. Very good reasons that are backing up your paragraph, the one thing that you could work on, is making the paragraph a bit more captivating.
